It’s the making up after a fight that makes you closer. It’s coming to each others senses realizing that you really do care for each other, and the feeling of accepting ones mistake and forgiving. Learning something knew about one another, what bothers them, and what makes them happy. Understanding each other more, and owning up to your mistakes. That, is what brings you closer to each other.

I didn’t intentionally do it but it just kinda happened. I lost communication with certain friends, and I became more independent. I’m just trying to look out for myself now. Trying to not get attached to certain people because it might hurt me in the future. Sure life’s about taking risks but theres also a point in life where you get tired of getting hurt. Tired of trying. Just tired of everything. I’m just trying to live life happily.

Sometimes, You just gotta do what you think is right for you. I mean, if you love the person, of course you’d understand and respect their decision of loving someone else. But you gotta take initiative too. Try doing the best you can do for yourself. Seize the day and make them yours. Hey, no one said you had to be a saint and always put other people’s feelings before your own. There are times when you should be able to fight for what you want too.

It’s a beautiful thing if you learn to be independent and strong on your own. To not always depend on others. Because you know that you can’t trust everyone in this world. People come and go. And if you learn to be happy on your own, and someone else comes along that is able to add on to that happiness of yours—it’s a feeling like no other.
